I’m 60% of the way through the sequel to The Space Orphan trilogy. I still have NO idea how to end it, but that’s usual for the way I write.

I start with an interesting situation and discover the story as I write. It’s like jumping off a cliff and expecting to fly. It’s a risky process but it has worked for 13 books and as many shorter works so far. Happily, all of them are still earning money, even the very first book.
