I just passed the 60% mark toward a projected 100,000 words in the last book of the trilogy called MARY MCARTHY: SHAPECHANGER. To celebrate and urge me on I created a cover for the book.
For the curious readers of the previous two books right now she is in Pittsburgh in 1880 and about to meet 45-year old Andrew Carnegie and hobnob with the three (or four) Mellons, 34-year old George Westinghouse, and 36-year old Henry Heinz.
More importantly, she is going to be a force in the fledgling aviation industry in Pittsburgh (and the US). Yeah, in this timeline many technologies get kickstarted sooner than in ours.
