This rainy Saturday, after working on book #17, I relaxed for lunch and a Netflix movie

It was Wrath of Becky starring Lulu Wilson. Standard revenge story: bad guys do bad things to the family of a good girl, she returns the favor even though she’s 16.

What sets this one apart is the craftwork. Visuals and sound, pacing, story, acting. Some gore, but only the minimum, much of it off-screen or suggested.

I worked on book #18 all afternoon. Then I had dinner and watched Becky .

Becky and Wrath are prequel and sequel. I’m hoping for a third movie.

Both are built upon characters and story by Nick Morris, Lane Skye, & Ruckus Skye. Wriath is directed by the screenwriters of Becky and also Wrath of Becky, Matt Angel & Suzanne Coote.
